AICA Kogyo was established in 1936. Since then, we have continued to grow steadily as a chemical manufacturer possessing the largest share of the Japanese market. We create materials, designs and technologies.

At AICA Kogyo, we are working to strengthen our axis when it comes to our current fields of business, such as chemical products including high pressure laminate (HPL), decor materials, and building material products. We are also actively working on expanding our involvement in fields outside the area of architecture with functional material fields such as automotive part materials and electronic materials serving as the pillars of those efforts.

Amid a changing global economic environment, we’re also putting effort into the development of our business overseas, primarily in Asia. We’re currently working actively to expand our business (including in terms of business collaboration) while going about expanding our production and sales bases. Furthermore, we’re conducting initiatives involving global environmental conservation and efforts aimed at achieving harmony with communities. These initiatives are one way in which we are expanding our business into a new era and include our efforts being put into the development of products designed in consideration of the environment based on our environmental philosophy.
